Yesterday evening, while out on a couple-hour walk, I passed by what appears to be a '69 Mach 1 hiding under a carport. It's turned perpendicular to the driveway, looked straight from the street, appears to be pretty original looking, and is quite dusty. I couldn't read the engine size on the hood scoop from the street. When I drove by today, there was a minivan parked blocking the nose. It's a bit blurry, but with the bright day and the shadowed carport, it was difficult to get while driving by.
I didn't ask, but it wasn't signed or advertised. 69's are my favorite, so had it been, I would have inquired. My wife and I were just taking a couple-hour walk and I spotted it while walking towards an off-street trailhead. From the looks of it, it's probably waiting for a restoration. Those tires look a bit dated, but the owner has it tucked nicely under cover.
Yeah, should be no problem for me. I have an easy way to find it. I just call your wife and tell her you and I talked about it, and that you were thinking about buying it and bringing it home, if I wasn't interested in buying it. I then ask her if she remembers were it is, since I can't reach you, and she will of course instantly tell me, since the last thing she wants is you having another car that doesn't even run cluttering up the driveway. :moonu:
That's funny, you're evil, and she's been warned. :TU: Seeing how it's in an area with houses/property in the $500k - $1Mil range (a block away one is $2.095Mil!), I'm guessing he knows what he's got. Unfortunately seeing the minivan parked in front of it, he's got worse problems.
