Used on the dyno 5 short pulls . Makes instant oil pressure & Great vacuum on my Engine .
Reason for selling is I need a bigger pump . Made 75 cold & 35 hot idle .

I have a very extensive over-head oiling system , I would like a larger , more pressure & volume pump . This engine has large.0035 main clearance & a manifold under the intake 3/8 lines .

Comes with Mandrel drive for Buick pattern crank bolts . You will need SRE bracket to mount pump to existing timing cover housing .

This was a brand new pump sitting on my shelf for years until I used it yesterday . Maybe Steve R will also elaborated & could supply mount .

Very nice set up I Just need a larger pump .

    Shipped from 18974 Warminster pa

550.00 firm . Great pump for a 550-700 hp engine with oiling as diagram shows .

New R 4 pump is 1800.00 from Jegs

This was a New Pump purchased in 2008 appox 995.00

Hello Nick. When we ran a system one filter,we couldn't get over 60 lbs with the pump.We put an a.c. filter on it and it went over 100.There wasn't enough clearance under the filter housing and filter so we took a ball mill and milled it out,now we can get as much pressure as we want with a system 1 filter.Just a thought. We have big clearance and overhead oiling as well.

Hello Nick. This is what we ended up doing. Before we milled the housing,we couldn't get over 60 cold.I think the filter is 45 microns but would have to check again. We started running the external Peterson pump back in 97 so it was more unversal .I would think you could get alot more than 75 ,even with big clearances.

The R1 I have makes crazy high pressure. On the dyno it once went up to 140. I had to get a smaller drive gear to keep it around 80 PSI at the 5800 shift point.
