To all fellow junkyard enthusiasts whenever you are in a yard look for 1984 Buick Century 4 doors and wagons as they often have the exact same chrome oil filler caps that came on 70-72 Stage-1s. These cars used to be pretty common in yards here in New England. I could count on a few on each trip but they are pretty scarce here now. Buy all you see as they will soon be gone forever. even if you dont need them you could sell them. Some people dont seam to care but most Stage 1 cars i see at shows have the wrong cap. But original is always better than a generic replacement. The cars are easy to identify in the yard as they all have 3.0 litre badges on the forward part of the front fender. Some of these cars have the chrome cap and some have a plastic cap. There seems to be no ryme or reason to this just look under the hood they are right in the front part of the engine compartment. The chrome caps usually have a black sticker in the center but if you peal it off it says AC and has some ##s the same. Happy Hunting!!!!!!! I Often have gotton these caps for free or next to it.
