Somehow, I dropped two (2) of these damn bolts into a "black hole" that exists in and under the engine bay.... I did not hear them hit the floor, and I cannot see/ feel them anywhere under or around the engine... IF someone has 2 spare, chrome "long" ones, please let me know... Brett was kind enough to get me three (3) regular painted bolts for the time being... If I could only flip the car over and shake it... I am sure they would fall out.. LOL
There are nice reproductions available if you don't find any OEM pcs . . . You can purchase them individually or as a Set. Just be careful if you purchase them elsewhere as there are some on the market that have SAE Threads but require a 10 mm Socket. I stock the "correct" ones.
I just checked my stash and I do have 3 or 4 of them. (OEM) But as with most of them from 50+ years ago they're going to be a tad rusty. I do have some though. I have a drawer full of OEM Engine Hardware . . .
I have 4) Staked ones and 3 regular ones. All OEM (Chrome) How about $20 shipped for all 7 of them . . . . ?
George.. Did Your Dash Pad sell..??? I sent you a PM, but not sure if you saw it. Please let me know, when you can. Thanks, Jim Jaeger
Been there, I use the air hose and and blow it into every place I can think of, worked ever time so far.
I once found one of my hammers wedged between the engine and frame (not on my GS). It was there so long that I did not remember losing it.
