has any body tried useing a 92-97 lt1 starter on your buick? I was looking for a high torque mini starter for my 455 and it looks like lt1 starter has the same bolt pattern as the B.O.P starter but not 100% sure. Does anyone know of any other GM mini starters that will work?
I went Down to Auto Zone last night and checked to see if they have the same bolt location and they do so I am going to give one a try.
Some are good, some are bad. We've heard of cases cracking on a few of them, might want to search around in the Sparky's forum, or the 400/430/455 forums for this one.
be careul I tried one before and it didnt work. There is a guy on the site selling them you should ckeck with him before buying. I used o proform small block chevy gear reduction starter and got a nose from ta! You can use the nose on other starters like til :Smarty: ton! Or call finish line performance in MI he can get you a good starter for a decent price.
