   Does anyone know if he starter shield and motor mount shield on the pasenger side of the engine should be plated yellow zinc or silver(?) zinc?

   I'm pretty sure I've seen silver zinc on the motor mount heat shield. Never seen a starter heat shield in good enogh shape to guess.
