The pinnacle of automotive design for the 1960's. The car is Silver Cloud Metallic and the paint shows very well. The interior is black vinyl and has all been restored. The car drives very well and can be driven with confidence. This Riviera retains its original 401 nailhead engine and transmission. The power steering pump has been rebuilt along with the original 4 barrel carburetor.
OK V-8 Buick People: Well it certainly does look tidy. If one is the least bit jittery about it being legit the only practical solution is to have a local pal check it out, verify the title, seller and address too. To go on a long trip unless you're really sure is a fools errand in this case. Mitch
Been looking for a 65 and found this https://www.cardealfinder.com/autos/buick/1965-buick-riviera-base-51540.html Hmmmm, sounds familiar.. Guy emails back with more pictures and says the car is in Miami. Nice hills and cactus ya got there in Miami I smell a rat. Seems like every one of these I find is a scam. Is the effort for these guys really worth it, makes no sense. Last 65 Riv I found was supposedly located near me in CA but the owner was a US Army General whose "platoon" just got sent to Afghanistan. Right, told him I found a better deal from a Prince I met from Nigeria
