    Here's one option for you:

    powersteering.com

Chip Woyner has been doing this for years. He does a lot of box rebuilds/updates for Oldsmobile people(has an ad over on 442.com classifieds). He can do a basic rebuild for approx $160 or a fast ratio conversion+rebuild for around $279 or so. Call him...excellent to deal with and pretty fast service.

Tell him Patton Glade from Austin, TX sent you  He uses USA made NEW parts in the boxes and he knows his stuff.

I sent the box off my 72 Stge 1 to him a couple months ago---car isn't back on the road yet so can't give you a report but I know others that have his boxes.

I ordered a new one from Summit last winter. It makes my car feel totally different. It now responds instantly and I can feel the road through the wheel. I kept my original quick ratio GS box in case I want to go back stock in the future. Just another option to a rebuild.

I ordered mine right from AGR. Didn't know Summit sold them for less. Talked to a tech rep. and told him how I wanted my car to feel. I want road feel. Got what I wanted. Another solution is a box from a 85 to 87 SS Monte Carlo or a GN Buick. This also will give you the same road feel. JOE  :) :) And cheaper too.

Yep, AGR was the name. It bolted up on my car without a problem. Awesome box.
