As I was looking at some of Steven Dove's books on Buick engine and Rivieras and GS's I was shocked that the price was so high for used ones. In upwards of $100. Is this true that these books are that desireable? o No: Im a newbie at this so I have no knowledge of his books or what they would sell for. Thanks
Rob, I had no idea they were so expensive. I have two copies of the "Guide to Buick GN, T-Type & GSX" books that Steven Dove autographed and sent me. Maybe I should get them insured. Duane
Rob , We have 2 of Steven Doves books . One is the guide to Buick Gran Sports and the other is a guide to Buick performance engines . The Gran Sport book is autographed to Shirl and I and yes they were about $100.00 each . The guide to Buick Gran Sport was his stamped #001 from Steven's personal collection to the both of us . leatherbound book Bruce, That is amazing.....I have NO. 01 of 25 produced, signed by Steven, and sent to me upon purchase. From his personal collection, on ebay, just a couple of weeks prior to the BPG meet last summer. In fact, as I unloaded my car for the show, he was set up behind me, and saw the book, and came up, introduced himself, and we talked for a great while. Nice guy, very sharp. John
I don't think the paperbacks are going for that kind of money, are they? The leather-bound limited edition copies, probably.

Wow,Jim,I had no idea Steve was selling a leatherbound edition at the GS Nationals.I don't remember seeing the leatherbound edition for sale at his vendor spot.However, I had bought a number of photos from Steve, and had him autograph them. So fortunately O have a momento from him. He was a very nice guy and I really enjoyed talking to him. A true gentleman.

Jim Burek is selling the standard paperback edition of the Peformance Engines handbook for $24.95 + S&H over at P.A.E Enterprises. And there's someone selling them on eBay too for around $35.00.
