Im using the T/A front cover assy, double roller chain, and when I insert the Stg1 style fuel pump Im kind of nervous about how close the fuel pump arm appears to be coming to the chain. The arm makes a slight bend to the right. I was under the impression that these TA covers were already set up for this problem as Ive heard that people notch their arms as needed. Does anyone have a pic of where this arm gets notched, Id rather not do it, but Id hate to see damage done if I dont. Thanks for any help

I just hit the arm on the grinder till it didn't hit, that was with a new GM front cover, I think the pump is still in the engine, on the stand in the garage, don't have time to pull it right now, to look! at using electric pump on the current engine!

Thanks alot, I went ahead and Temp. installed it, put a socket on the crank and turned it over a few times, checked for marks on the arm and didnt see any. I thought at least that would give me a mark of where to grind. I like the idea of going after the holes instead of the arm itself, Im going to try that. . I appreciate you 2 taking the time to help..:TU:
