Does anyone know of a source for a stick flywheel starter ring gear? I've got a '69 400 Firebird flywheel that I just had degreased and resurfaced. The shop notified me that one tooth is broken off of the starter ring gear. I can press it off and replace it though. Looks to be a 166 tooth ring gear. Anyone sourced one of these before?

I dont guarantee all of these are 100% accurate because some of them came from an interchange, but they should make life a little easier while you're calling around. :bglasses:

I just installed a new one on the GTO

I don't have a part#, but mine came from Autozone, they didn't have it in
stock, but it was there the next day.

    Thanks Tom,
I never imagined these would still be available and cheap too. Just $20 from Advance Auto. :)
