I'm not sure if this is the correct place to put this post but.....

I am fixing to start a buildup of a 455 in the near future. My problem is that I'm not a chrome and glitzy type of guy. I want everything to look factory including the bolts on the engine.
I dont want to use ARP accessory bolts or hardware store grade 5 type bolts.
I want to use the factory type bolts!

Where can I find these type of bolts? NOS or like new would be great.
Does anyone sell factory bolts for timing cover, water pump, intake, starter, fuel pump, oil pan, etc...?
Someone told me to go to AMK products but they don't offer Buick engine bolts.
Thanks for any help you can give,
    Jim

You might want to try these guys:

They're a Vette shop but they do carry many types of repro GM fasteners. At one time they were giving out 18" x 24" sized laminated posters of the dozens of factory-style (correct coatings, head markings, etc.) fasteners they supply. Not sure if those posters are still available or not. I would think much of what they have translates across all GM lines (as they did back in the day). They are about 30 minutes from me and I've purchased a bunch of stuff for my Vette from them.

If you have examples of the original bolts to match up against, you should be able to find something that looks close.

    Good luck.
