Stolen 442 in Detroit area- Detroit sucks

    One of our friends had his trailer (with his car in it) stolen from his shop in Troy, MI. The car was an Autorama winner. Keep your eyes open and spread the word. Here's Rob's post from ROP.

    received a call from buddy last night advising that someone stole his trailer which had his 72 442 inside from his shop in Troy, MI

    as an attempt to help put out the word I have copied his email details regarding the car and trailer with hopes that someone may run across
    this is VERY NEAR FUTURE

    Some time during Thursday night June 23, 2005 my
    Olds was in the enclosed trailer parked at my shop in
    Troy, MI. in the area of I-75/15 Mile Rd which both
    were stolen. Police report was made and both are in
    the system. If you could please put the word out to
    as many people as possible it will be very helpfull.

    72 Olds 442 Drk Blue in color w/Black interior.
    Weld Drag Lts Wheels, M/T Tires, Chevy 12 bolt
    rear end w/w-27 rear cover, Aluminum fuel cell mounted
    in the trunk, MSD Ign. mounted on the front passenger
    side floor kick panel, Painless control box mounted on
    the roll cage, 12 pt roll cage, Rear back seat is
    custom fit around roll cage, under body glossy black.
    VEHICLE IS VERY CLEAN

    28 Ft Haulmark Enclosed Car Trailer burg red in
    color. Trailer has dents and scratches and sticker of
    an eagle in white on the upper rear corner of trailer.

    Please keep ears and eyes open.

    FYI - car looks almost identical to BIG Jerry's as far as visual note.

    Therefore if anyone see's any ad's for OLDS parts that may indicate that they can lead a trail to this car please call Tom or relay email thru me

    Ram air hood / deck lid spoiler / etc. would be clues.

    That is one of my biggest fears!!! :shock:
    I was in the Autorama with that car, it is beautiful, I will spread the word also :mad:
