The Firebird was suppose to be a Vette killer but Chevy didn't like it.

In days of yore, in merry old England, the worst sex charge was entered into the docket as "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge".Perhaps you can guess what the short form became.HINT-it is about the only English word that is used as a noun, verb, adjective or adverb. Thank goodness none of us ever get to exercise our verbal skills to this extent! Right?

The fastest production vehicle in America in 1978 was not the Corvette, the Trans Am, or the Z-28, heck it wasn't even a car!! It was a truck, the Little Red Express truck by Dodge. Pretty sad if you ask me. Cadillac was the first company with the self starter because one of Henry Lelands friends died while trying to crank over their car.

Henry Ford was quite frugal with his money. When ordering the engines to be placed in his cars he would insist on having them delivered in wood crates. The boards were to measure a certain size and screws were to be used to build the crate. The holes were to be drilled in a certain place. When the engines arrived the crates were emptied and dismantled and the boards were used in the floor of the car. Thus the term "floor board."

If you put the crystalized honey in a pot of boiling water, careful not to get the water in the honey, it will return to edible status and, therefore, not spoiled.

Mike, you are right!! Now for my reward, how's about letting me have that '69 GS?!!:Brow:  :TU:

Airbags were also an option in 74 and 75 Buicks and Cadillacs

Here are spare airbags that I bought on Ebay from a 74 Electra. I searched for the bumper impact detector for over two years before finding this one... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7910047800
