I'm also thinking of suiciding the rear doors on my '55. I know one person here has done it. Has anyone else? Whats involved? Any kits for it, or is it all custom? Let me know anything you know. Thanks.

There is a Guy who frequents this site who has done it.
    He did a Splendid Job!
For some reason I cannot access the entire site tonight, but He has Posted with Pictures in the Show me You Classic Buick and What Model Classic Buick do You Have? Threads. If You go threw them You will find them if you can negotiate this website.

I finally got threw. The Guys name is Mike. For Hesperia, California. He goes by the name of "mharby" 56 Suicide Buick. Check out Page 4 of the Thread What is the Year and Model of Your Classic Buick?

He did All Custom Work and it turned out SUPER. He is Quite Talented as well as creative.

Hopefully, He will see this Topic and Jump in Feet First.

If not go through the previously mentioned posts and do some research and hopefully You Guy's can Hook-Up?

I know He is from the West (Left) Coast and He has a White/Red/Black 1956 "B" Body Buick Special/Century. It is not the larger "C" Body Super?Roadmaster.

    Happy Holidays!

    Hey Dan!

Go through the Posts and Threads

In the Show us oe what is the Year threads, Also chech through the search engine under mharbry.

I remember that Mike had made a pretty detailed description along with pictures on what he had to do to convert (flip-flop) the hinges and door jambs.

Mike is also removing the gas filler door and sealing it up and replacing it with a fuel filler behind the Left Rear Tail-light housing!...... Pretty Ingenious/Creative!

    Hey Tom and Dan

    Hey Tom and Dan,
Thank you guys very much for all of your compliments on the work that has been done on my car. I just wanted to make something very clear, I did not personally do all of the work on my car, the work was done at a custom shop in Hesperia. However the owner of the shop who did do all of the work let me get involved with every step of the way. I told him what I wanted to do and he made it work. He is the one who should be getting all of the praise, not me. I can not take credit for something I did not do. I just wanted to clear that up. Being that I was involved with alot of the work I do know what was done and would be happy to answer any questions that you have about what was done.
