after a few hundred hours of labor I am getting close to installing my Rightstuff disc brakes. What a PITA! I guess my first real complete job. The instructions are pretty weak. Basically they just say bolt it up. I just noticed I have a distribution block on the driver side frame. does that stay connected with the proportioning valve?

I wasn't sure about the short booster rod as well. Is it "Floating" or am I supposed to tap it in to secure it?

The kit doesn't say anything about hard brake lines as well. They give you flex lines but thats it. Does the banjo bolt and flex lines just bolt in. I wasn't sure about the small hole on each part and crush washers. are their universal inline tubes I can finish up my job? I am a visual learner.

and the rod to the brake pedal and clevis only has one hex nut. Am I supposed to use an extra one to secure it?

I think I figured out this brake thing. This brake kit is for all GM A body's.(not specific to Skylarks) So mounting varies. I called tech support and the proportioning valve does not have to be next to the master cylinder. I think I can take the distribution valve off (mounted on the frame) by the lower A arm. Use the existing lines and possibly bolt right up. The bracket and line thing was messing me up. The extension to the brake pedal needs to be trimmed off once installed. (cut the threads).
