Sumped 1970 gas tank

Are the dimensions the same as on a 1969's tank?

 

Would think the size would be but don't think the filler neck would work.??

Thanks, Dan. I still might be interested anyhow, because I am having second thoughts about using the fuel cell I bought to replace the rusty original tank that had been in my GS for all these years.
Your price is great, IMO. The distance between us is the problem. (I am in northern WV)
