I stumbled on these while junkyarding today. I can't believe there is a 1970 Cougar Eliminator in the bunch. They are only worth about $100,000 restored but I will keep that ones location a secret for awhile! p This last one is actually on a car lot for sale. Happy New Year to all my Buick friends. This site has really been a delight for me.
I would like that steering wheel on that cat :TU: A buddy of mine has a factory Boss 302 Eliminater, same grabber blue, I always liked them after a ride in his, you can really twist some rpm's out of those boss motors. Most were 351's, the 428 cars are real rare too
That Stingray looks like a 63 split window. Wonder if it has/had the fuelie engine. o No: They had some odd options back then, if it had the Z06 option, priceless :eek2:
Cool pics! Love that Cougar with the 'Hijackers' sticker in the window! ...takes be back to my teenage years. :Smarty: I believe every junkyard full of old cars should be preserved as a museum! There was a local junkyard that had a great collection....a fast back Hudson Hornet, and a 40's Buick full of bullit holes, just to name a few. I went back this summer, and they were all gone. The township made the owner get rid of the 'junk'. :af: Wish I could have gotten in there with a camera. Keep the pics coming!
The guy that does our paint work is currently working on a '63 Split window that was pulled from a field. It's going to be a long haul....the body was a bit "spongy", as though all those years outside had started breaking down the resin or something. K
The vette If thats a 63 split rear window vette, what engine is in it? If its a 427, its worth big dollars....hell even if it isn't.....
Wow , I don't know what is more of a find the mid year split window vette or the Eliminator. nice job and good to see you have'nt been shot at or arrested yet
