Thanks Gary, I was thinking the same thing. Was happy to see you get the little glitch in the car taken care of and get down to business. It was just an awesome weekend. I wasn't planning to go until 2 weeks ago had family stuff going on. Towed out behind mom and dads new motorhome for its maiden voyage, a bit nicer than my 200,000 mile truck. My wife and son along with mom and dad were there to see me win, my first win with my dad present, seems like something always goes wrong with my driving when he is there. I just barely got in on the quick 16 with a 10.24 qualifying time and ran a tire smoking 10.31 in the final. Was a strange final because both of us were off our normal times and lights, we could both reflect on what we did and see how the other person could have won or lost, margin was 11 thousandths of a second at the end. We altered the money split a little to make the final not so important and both walked away with a good payout for the day and smiles on our faces. Bobb, Geof and Amy from finishline put another $300 in my pocket for the win, thanks for the help with parts, service and contingency money at the end, I proudly display the Finishline sticker on my car even before the anouncement of the contingency program. Congrats to all the other winners. Thanks to everyone that made this event happen, good work.

Way to go John, Super-8 winner! I'd like to also send congrats out to Dennis for his Quick 16 win. He took me out in the semi-finals and, while I wish it was me in the winner's circle, at least I can say I was beaten by the guy who won it all! :TU:
