Can Tom Clary give us some guide lines for participating (racing) in the SuperCar Reunion 12 in Sept. What cars are are going to be eligible to run or would he prefer we contact him for a case by case basis? For example would the racing gods smile on a Chevy II,series 100, L79?ray: Would that be an example of a "special interest car"? Thanks, Thomas
Those Yenko guys dig hi-po anything, well maybe not everything, but I'm sure they'll love your little Chevy II. :3gears: Here's a link to the SYC Yenko website and SCR12 discussion. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/sho...6&Words=reunion&topic=&Search=true#Post381589 .
While there is really nothing on the outside that says Super Car, after all it is pretty plain. It does seem to scoot right on down the track pretty good!:3gears: Hope the Yenko folks find in their hearts that it's a "special interest car". Thomas
Tom: There was an el strippo low mileage 6 cyl car for sale a few years back that looks almost identical to this. Same one? Neat car!!!
Dave, the series 100's were ALL el strippo's weren't they? That was kind of their reason for existing. In that series even the front door arm rests were an option ( $2.41 ) They were the king of cheap( and low weight ) It does have the optional "fun to go buy groceries/ and or go to church " L79 though:laugh: It was owned by a proverbial "Little Old Lady". She even saved the Protect-O-Plate for me. Thomas
Donny, I talked with Tom Clary's son (Tim?) who authorized my Chevy II to run at the Supercar Reunion! Got my hotel room and I'm all good to go.:beer Thank you for the follow up. Anyone else from PS or FS you know of going? Thomas
Rob, Rob, Rob................... yea that's it, that was the guy. :idea2: Aren't all you Clary's related anyway?o No: Thomas
