    Hi everyone,

What is the best blower, intake and carburetor combination for a late Buick 455 engine and what type of piston and camshaft works better with supercharger?

    Thanks Larry,
Maybe I should start with who makes intake manifold for installing Supercharger on 455.

This is the setup Don Hampton and I did for our blown Nitro engine. Awsome experience working with Don. The last picture is a modified dual quad intake for the 6-71 + 8-71 and our custom NHRA spec intake from Don.

I'm looking into a bolt together 6/8-71 blower intake for street use. This would not have the NHRA sfi spec burst panel but would incorporate a pressure relief for the occasional hiccup. Should be plenty for street use and well tuned occasional race use on gas.
Let me now if this would be of interest.
This would be a "Hybrid" intake dual quad or blower. You could even say you are running a hybrid :D

For a Buick. It seems the Blower Intake is the hardest part to find. Matbe one of the Holy Grail of Intakes for Buicks.
Hampton showes they have a complete 455 Blower package.
I've seen other adds that say Intake not included.
As far as most other parts there's quite a few company's, big and small, selling just about every other parts. Blowers, carb linkade, top plates Ect Also FB Blower sites with used parts.
I've beat the net to death reading and looking. Im also watching
Market place. With no luck for manufacteres manifold.
I see duel carb intakes and single planes, are cut open to make
    Blower manifolds.
    Also Youtube has some great
"how to" videos on Blowers and Turbo's.

You can build a kit yourself,..the blower flanges are available,....get a single plane intake,.....mill it down to accommodate the blower flange,...blowers are dirt cheap,..so are the pullies

Flange needs to be at the right height single 4 intake would be to low think it has to be a 2x4 my blower intake has choke coil pocket still and other does not
