Hey Guys, Any recommendations on where I can source this clip (photo's at bottom of thread)? These have been described to be as "side molding trim clips" by my restorer. Separately I found the following on Ebay which look similar but are not identical: (similar but not identical item on Ebay): https://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-Buick...ildcat&hash=item3621b0f150:g:kAQAAOSwh2xX~wSI I'm hoping someone has been there and "done that" so please let me know. Thanks, Matt Photos of actual clips needed (below and less the dirt):
Thanks Jim. I'm checking with them now. I sent them the photos and they're seeing if they have a match.
Ok I just heard back from Jeff at Restoration Specialties. He's out of them and has been for over 20 years! He further said that they are impossible to find. Does anyone else have any leads? I could even buy take offs if someone is parting out a 64 Wildcat.
I also posted on Fbook some guy with a 64 convert parting out. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1590802871172126/ How many do you need?
Thanks Ted. I'm pretty sure I just found the part. I looked in the 1964 Chassis and Body Book and it showed the PN# as 4877401. This PN# cross references to other GM vehicles. Through the following supplier the part is shown as: http://secure.classichq.com/68-DASH-PAD-DOG-LEG-CLIP-PAIR--P913.aspx
