Hey buddies! Man I should have joined this along time ago when I first bought my skylark. I've got the whole suspension off my chassis including the rear axle. I just barely finished painting almost everything with POR 15 paint. So far I think the stuff will hold up pretty well. I'm not planning on driving my skylark in the snow or rain. I got front and rear sway bars from Poston and custom rear lower control arms too to keep the wheels from hopping and stuff. I ordered PST suspension bushings etc. too.
I need some advice on shocks and springs. What do you guys recommend for maximum power off the line? I'm putting a '70 455 in a '67 skylark. I want the car to be as fast as possible off the line but street driveable at the same time. Let me know what you all have done.
I'm looking into QA1 motorsports shocks. Their pretty expensive but thier easily adjustable on the car. And I'll probably throw on some 27" tires on the back. Thanks. JOhnny.
