Hey, guys. Anyone running the TA 212 camshaft in their big block? Any advice? I'm thinking of putting in my Riv. 72 455 w/ 70 heads. Thanks!

I am running the 212 in my '67. The cam has less manifold vacuum at idle. Plan on increasing your timing and idle speed. You may have to tweak the carburetor as well. I am also running 6 degrees advance on the cam. It is very strong when tuned. Have fun!

I'm running it here at 6300 feet and really like it. It's 4 degrees advanced per TA Performance. Had to richen the quadrajet. Way stronger than the 71 455 stock cam it replaced.

Awesome. Sounds like a lot of fun w/ just a few easy mods! I'll definitely have to look into it!
