Well, I got my intake and carb in, but noticed something that brings concern when I was fitting up the gasket. There are 4 small ports in each of the headswhich appear to have functioned with the air pump omn the stock manifold. The valley pan will seal the front and rear ports on each head, but the center two appear that they will find their way into the engine. I guess there are two questions: What do I need to do to seal these two ports OR Should I just pretend like I never noticed this I really like emgine and don't want to screw it up and throw out all the money I've sunk in it. Any ideas to fix or blindfolds to ignore it would be appreciated -Keith 1974 455 Apollo
The intake should fit over the holes so the exhaust dont get into the engine. You can drive some plugs into the holes, 18mm fit nicely i hear
