TA sportsman rods

Does anybody have/run a set of these? On the website the ad says "it may not be worth rebuilding rods anymore". I know they must be good, but what kind of money are they going for?

 

Call TA and ask. I believe they are 700 a set. The big end looks much beefier than the stock piece. TA claims 800 hp capacity. They sound like the perfect hot street/mild race rod to me.

Assuming clearances are all set properly with the engine, you'd probably lose the block before you'd hurt those rods! :Smarty:

 

Is TA still selling these rods? I don't see them listed on the website.

 

Sure, I just bought a set a few weeks ago.. check their online price list as it is the most complete listing of parts, until Dave finishes the new catalog.

TA 1633 if memory serves.

Very nice drop in, no fuss, no muss rod. We prolly have used 5 or 6 sets by now.. maybe more, I lose track..

TA Rods

I run these rods in both my Super Stock and Top Stock GS's. Great rods at a competitive price. These are the only rods approved by IHRA and NHRA for Stock and Super Stock!
