Does anyone make a dual contact socket that has a separate ground wire, as opposed to the stock style that ground on the pot metal light housing? The tail light and brake lights on my '64 Skylark are dim on the passenger side. I think it's due to the corrosion on the housing that is preventing a good contact. I used a dremel to sand off the corrosion but it hasn't helped much. I thought about grounding the housing to the battery to see if that strengthens the ground but thought I'd see if there any light sockets with ground wires included. Thanks in advance.

I got tired of futzing with those sockets on the '65 'Lark. I cleaned up one grounding ear on each socket, then soldered a wire to each. I brought three grounds together on each side, then screwed those to the taillight housing.
