Does anyone know where to get the rear tailgate seal for a wagon? Can some other seal be used from any other vehicle that would work.? Thanks for looking Bret
I talked to a rep from soft seal at the nats last year, and I know they started making door seals for wagons I thought he said they offered a full kit for a wagon. May be worth a call. Tony
I will. The web site didn't have any answers, but an email has been sent. There may be other avenues to search if this falls though.
Well, I recieved an e-mail from Soffseal The answer was "We have nothing for tailgates at this time. Maybe sometime in the future". So those of us looking to replace there tailgate seal will need to get creative or likely wait a significant amount of time. I will be looking I incourage other interested party 's to do the same and post any positive results. :Comp: later Bret
Hey, who did you actually email at SoffSeal? That way I can email the same person and he'll be wondering more about it...."two requests in the same week? maybe we oughta start pushing this wagon stuff sooner!" I need weather stripping SOOOO bad in my wagon, the front doors are "ok" but the rear doors, all the windows, and rear tailgate weatherstrip have nearly disintegrated so I dare not drive it when it's raining because it rains both outside AND inside otherwise! If anyone gets a line on Sport Wagon weather strip (specifically 1969) let us all know!!!
Here is the entire reply from Soffseal. As with anything the squeaking wheel gets the Grease. HELLO, SOFFSEAL HAS NOTHING FOR THE TAILGATE AT THIS TIME. HOPE- FULLY IN THE FUTURE.
