Who has an easy way of removing a 71 skylark tailgate for repairs. Mostly need info on the torque bar removal so as not to get spanked by it. Thanks
Tailgate? I assume you mean the trunk lid, by referencing the torque bars. Simple. Put a blanket or pad over trunk edge near rear glass to protect paint, then just loosen the 2 bolts off each hinge, then remove the ones closest to the rear of the car first. Piece of cake!
