I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to take off the trim on my 1968 Skylark. The bolts in the front and back quarter panels are very hard to get to and I want to know if anyone has done this without taking apart the whole car. I'm 19 years old and I want to take it off so I can get my car painted cheaper. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Which trim bits are you talking about? I've pulled the long "spear" trim off the side of a wrecking yard '69, it just popped off the retainers with a thin-blade screwdriver. Same with the trim around the rear of the roof, except for the corner bits, with unbolt from inside the trunk (easy job, just climb on in there!)
