    Hey,

Anyone try 205/75/15 tires on a boat tail Riviera? I currently have 225/70/15 on the car... not a fan of the wide/flat look... I like em tall, whitewall, 75's...

    Thank you for the help

Those would be aweful small on a Riv. Your tire size should be at 235/75/15.

    Wanted:

a certain look, thinner tread than the tires today, 6" tread for the stock 15x6" rim, tall sidewall with less buldge...

    Maybe 225/75R15?
What did those boat tails come with from factory? J78-15's?

I put 225/75/15 on my Electra, looks way better than 235s. Should be the same with your Riviera. 205 are really tiny

Actually, the factory tire for a '73 Riviera would be HR70x15, with the recognized metric equivalent being P235/75. The '71 and '72 models would be H78x15, with the recognized metric equivalent being P225/75. Not sure why a '73 is different than '71/'72, although an extra 500 lbs in curb weight may explain it.
