There was a thread on the Zeppelin site that I go to about pix of t-shirts the guys wore. So I'm scrolling thru and BLAMO, there's Plant with the '69 Atlanta Pop show shirt and a Dr. Olds sticker in the middle. I couldn't believe it. TOO COOOL ! :beers2:

Led Zepplin is the greatest rock and roll band ever to play. Thats my opionion and I think there will never be anyone close to them again. My kids are 12 and 9 and they have no music preference, but when Zepplin is cranking out through my massive 15 watt 8 track stereo in my 440 sixpack bee they really did it. Especially when the tape stops playing for a second or two during the 1 2 powershift. It kinda adds to the excitement. :eek2:

When people talk about great guitar players and Jimmy isn't at least very near the top of their list, I know that they don't know jack!! Amazing sound and amazing to see live.

I can't say who the greatest rock and roll band of all time is because there are a few incredible groups that changed the face of rock and roll, and they are great in different ways, but led zeppelin will always be a favorite to me.
I can't even listen to that little guitar loop of Kashmir without having to pull a CD to put in the rig tomorrow and maybe pulling something up on youtube right now.

Man, looking at that video makes me realize just how long ago it was when they did the page and plant tour. The only concert that I ever stood in line to get tickets for and if they hit the road again I would be right there again!

I ALMOST, and I mean VERY almost plunked down a chunk of change to see them at the O2 in London in '07. I am that big of a fan. I did see Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Tribute in '10 and scored front row tickets. I think I still have a woody from that show. A truly awesome and correct tribute.

But to have Plant have a Dr. Olds sticker on his t-shirt cracks me up. Bonham might have known what a W-Machine was, but PLANT ????
