TH-400 Blue Paint color

Is there a DUPLICOLR # for the blue on a 72 tranny? Thanks Pete

Just finished the engine--boy I hate painting with a small BRUSH :grin:

The factory did not paint automatic transmissions or aluminum-case manuals either. I've seen blue iron-case manual transmissions. Is that what you're referring to?

 

This is the blue color I was asking about on my tranny case.

 

Mine's the same only its out of a GTO.

 

Someone painted it blue? Clean it real good and paint it with Aluminum paint. Do not let the shop put it in their cleaning tank as it will take the nice color and letters of your BS tag and they arer gone forever.
