Heres the short story.....I have what was a 69 gs 350 I have pulled the motor and tranny and I am attempting to put a bb400 with a th400 the problem im running into is the th400 is a long shaft tranny out of a sportwagon and the crossmember in the car is for a short shaft tranny.
Is there a crossmember available that will bolt in or do I need to drill new mounting holes for my old one?Is a big car crossmember different than a skylarks?
    thanks Al
And i guess ill be having a new driveline made as well [live and learn]

    Al,
The x-mbr is made for TH350 and TH400. Regardless of t-shaft length, the mounting point is the same on all TH400. I would strongly suggest you go with a short shaft trans. You will encounter vibration and u-joint wear with the longshaft.
