Hello buick boys, I put in A new olie filter in my TH400 from 72. But it whas hanging very loos. The hole in the filter is a ovel model the bold has som thread and then A thicker part then the head. The bold only gos in the trans till the end of the thread. But then the filter is not jet secure to the trans. Is there A rubber nedet in the ovel hole of the filter?? The filter is now hangin on the bold head and I can twist is up and doun on the left or ride site. Thanks Koos Diedel. o No:
All is well, the filter is supposed to be loose. It rests on the bottom of the pan and the 2 dimples in the pan keep it in position. Mark
