I have a 1969 delta 88 with a good th 400 tranny in it and I was told that it was a long shaft, and I was wondering if it would go into my 72 skylark with out any issues. Is there a difference between the 400's that were in the skylarks than the one's that were in the full size deltas or wildcats? And would I need to shorten the driveshaft or relocate the tranny mount to make this work? Can anyone help me with some info on this since I've always ran a th350 and never done a tranny swap b4.
