Ok, for 3.90 and 4.10 gears...you will need a speedo reducer (pictured below)....I do not have any of those at this time...you will need to email me direct... GStage1@BuickPerformanceClub.com As for the 3.42 gears, I think 42 to 44 will work depending on rear tire size(diameter)...from my article on the site: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Driven gear teeth=Drive gear teeth(axle ratio)(tire rev/mi)/1000 Tire rev/mi=20168/tire diameter in inches. For example 28" tall tire will have 720.29 rev/mi. --------------------------------------------------------- So the typical drive gear is 17 For a 3.42 set-up...will look like this: Speedo gear is = 17 x 3.42 x 720.29 / 1000 = 41.87 which means a 42 gear So for a 3.90 gear would be a 48 T and a 4.10 gear would be a 50T. With those high gears, you will need a speedo reducer with .88 reduction to go with a 42 driven gear. Email me direct......thanks!
So, looking at my selection...will work out like this: Ken would get 2 42T and 1 43T Brian would need a 43T Justin would need a 43T You will also need to verify you have the correct speedo housing to accept the 42-43 gears.....I pictured the lower version so you will know that version will not accept the 42-43 gears....at this time, I do not have any 42-3 TH350/TH400 speedo gear housings...will see if I can find some in the next few days. Once I get a direct email with requested info, I can send total w/ship and let you know when I get the speedo reducers as pictured below....thanks!
