Hi all. I just replaced the th350 in my 65 'lark with a replacement. (it was free and came out of a fresh car)
The tailsections were the same length, so i assumed that i wouldn't have any issues. After i installed the tranny, hooked up the linkage and the driveshaft and get her back on the ground...i didnt get any engagement.

So i get the car back up and loosen the driveshaft only to find that the spline shaft on the forward yoke (into the tranny) is not engaged with the output shaft splines. I pushed the driveshaft into the tranny about 1/4" - 1/2" and i get engagement, but now, i cannot attach the ujoint at the pinion yoke because of the gap. I know OPGI has different length yokes available, but is this a simple fix to my problem, or would this affect driveshaft/pinion angle?

    any help is certainly appreciated!!
