Do I have somthing unusual here (see pics)?

I have this TH350, and it looks like it has a BOP & Chevy uni bolt pattern. I thought I've read where they were BOP or Chevy specific.

    Thanks,

Not that unusual, I've had a couple.

The chevy bolt pattern will only fit a chevy, the BOP will fit both chevy and BOP. Actually, the chevy bolt pattern will bolt up to a BOP but only with two of the provided bolt holes which of course isn't enough. I have two BOP pattern ones and there some what rarer than the chevy ones but not what I would call rare.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew the 200-4R was uni, but I didn't understand the TH350 for BOP was also uni.

I got this in a package deal with a Buick 350 and I don't need it. I am probably going to post it on Craigslist. I know it's not much, but any idea what these are worth (notice the cracked upper Buick mount)?

$50-$75 same as the core price as unless you know, its not good for anything but being rebuilt or traded in for a core.

I have no idea. It's out of a '72 Skylark if that helps. It came with a converter too - not sure if it's the original.

The chevy bolt pattern will only fit a chevy, the BOP will fit both chevy and BOP.

no, a dual-pattern or "10 hole" bell will fit both patterns. Chevy and BOPC are non-interchangeable. both are 6 hole patterns, and the top four holes are completely different.

it's not unusual to find a dual-pattern bell in a BOPC car, but don't go telling people that all BOPC cars used dual pattern bells, they didn't.

not trying to come down on you, but if somebody grabs a TH-400 out of 69 Riv because they think it "will fit both chevy and BOP" and they want to put it behind their 454 they're going to get a nasty surprise.

GM (especially Chevy) wasn't that smart to make one bolt pattern.

Is there any way to identify a TH350C from a regular TH350? What years and BOP models were available with a TH350C Transmission? Does anyone make a racing converter with the lock-up feature for the TH350C?
    Inquiring minds want to know.....

Randy,I'm not 100% sure but I believe that the lock up 350 will have an electrical connector on the left side, behind the shift lever somewhere on the case. The pan will look just like the regular th350 pan.

I did some searching tonight and there is a 4 pin electrical connector on one side for the electrical hook-up, similar to the one on a 200-4R. I also found a place that makes high stall (up to 3200 rpm) lock-up converters for them as well. I haven't found out what years they were available yet.

81 and up th350s were lock up. an easy way to tell is an o-ring on the input shaft for the lock up converter
