TH400 for sale

With my Muncie swap complete, I no longer have a need for this TH400. This transmission was in the car when I bought it, and I am not familiar enough with 400's to tell you any details about it. However, if you have any questions about it, just tell me what to look for and I'll get you the answers you need.
What I DO know for sure is that this transmission felt great and shifted flawlessly behind my '70 455 BBB. It had no leaks and absolutely no issues for the time that I drove it (approx. 5 months). I did not swap this out because of any problems... I only pulled it out because I prefer the Muncie//Gearvendors combo.

Apologies, I forgot to add that it will come with a flywheel, B&M Shifter, cables, and the yoke... All pictured here.

Are you selling the backing plates for the rearend? I could use a pair.

 

Are you talking about the rear portion of the drum brake system that houses the cylinders?

That transmission is for a full size car; it has the "medium" tail shaft/housing. It will work in an A-body with a shortened driveshaft.
