I've had this tranny for several years. I purchased it, completely rebuilt professionally. It comes with the Switch Pitch TQ. This tranny, since rebuilt has never had a drop of trans fluid in it...Been sitting on my shelf..I have no need for it and it cost me nearly a grand to purchase. I'm letting it go for 600 on this site. Now I know, difficulty in shipping is a problem, especially in these hard economic times, but the price should help soften the blow. I don't want to ship it but will do if required...As most know on this board, these are extremely good trannys and getting a little hard to find. Can post or call me on my cell, 661-755-6018. Yes, it's short shaft and does come with the converter..Converter is stock...I can't lift the Tranny, too old perhaps and have torn rotator cuff...(too much info) But if it comes to shipping I will get help, no problem. I can take some pics and post if so desired... Len

Sorry for not calling, got home several hours later from work than planned. I would like the trans but need to have it shipped to Compton CA. Is it possible that you or someone you know should be going in that area one day and could bring it up? Of course I will pay for transport.
