TH400 Short Shaft Variable Pitch

Complete transmission, been setting for a few years was in a running car I put power to the solenoid & it clicks strong still on it $500

I'm interested - what would it take to get it into a full-sized Buick? I've got a THM-400 long-shaft sitting around, can the parts be easily swapped, or would it make more sense to get a longer driveshaft?

(The 2NABOt currently has a THM-350 in it.)

edit: Is the converter included?

 

Its a complete set up in a short tail trans. If someone swaped it out to the long shaft would be better
