I'm about to put the rebuilt 350 back in the old Willys and need to first figure out the trans creeping problem. I need a new converter and measuring the flex plate bolt pattern it has holes for a 10" pattern and also a 9 1/2 " pattern. Does this sound right? Will a Chevy converter fit a Buick TH-400 ( son has a new one he's willing to donate if it will work), or do I need to stay with Buick?
    Thanks,
    Barry

Should fit , no problem. The chevy converters usually have mounting ears instead of mounting pads, like the Buick uses. This can be a problem when bolting up to a 455 type of flexplate that has a balance weight on it. Teh ears will interfere with the balance weight. Your 350 should not have that issue. Jim Burek
