    Hi All,

First I want to thank Bob for all his years of hard work with the event. He was the inspiration to start this race in the first place, the first few being very informal gatherings at Milan way back in 1993! Bob and I worked beautifully together, one propping the other one up when he was down. It won't be the same without Bob's humor and leadership to keep the event running smoothly. But I understand life changes, and after all these years it's bound to. So I wish him the best of luck in his future endevours and like the rest of you, I would like to see him at the track, with or without a car! Thanks for letting me be your partner with this race Bob. Your the best!

I want to announce that my brother Dennis will take Bob's place, starting this year. Most of you know Dennis since he and his son Corbin have been heavily involved with helping Bob and I for many years. Together, we will do our best to keep the race a fun event and maintain the high standards that Bob set.

So join me in welcoming Dennis to our family!

    Dan

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Bob for being a driving force in this event. I may not have ever attended many but when I did I had a blast. I do plan on attending again but it'll be different as my drag-racing "crew-chief" will be in boot-camp this year.

WELCOME, Dennis! Thanks for stepping in to fill pretty big shoes so that this event may continue on.

Well I'm glad Dennis is on board too. Pretty much guarantees the Pontiac bias will be perpetuated.

I hate to see Bob stepping away, however, I cannot think of a better person to fill those shoes better than Dennis!

"The Bob" caught in the act of verifying a Studebaker carburetor number when Ted Harbit's red 1963 Lark Custom, The Stude Tomato, was going through the ringer for Certified Stock status in 2012:

I wanted to take time to thank Bob for dedication to Muscle Cars and the passion he has shown towards the event. Bob and I have been what I feel to be best friends for almost 35 years. I have know him longer that both of my ex-wives. We have been through a lot of muscle cars together, and muscle cars is what brought us together. That common bond brought us together with Dan and Dennis Jensen about 25 years ago, and our friendship with them has blossomed over the years via the Muscle Car.
Thanks to Bob I own my 1970 GSX, and my 1971 A-Title GTO Judge. He is the reason that I am in this neck deep, so I do not have anyone else to blame but him. Just kidding Bob, as you know you have been there for me through out the years through thick and thin. I have had an absolute blast with you from earliest events to helping you and Dan put this event together from the beginning.
I will do my best to carry on your legacy of promoting and putting on this event with Dan and Dennis. You will be missed however, as you know family comes first, and your peace of mind in life is a must. Keep playing your music, and you have nothing but best wishes from me and I am sure everyone else in the Muscle Car Community.

    See ya Bobby Boo!!
