    SmallHurst The Polyglas Pimp!

I just wanted to say thanks to the guys I saw on the 'Spring Thaw' tour this weekend!

Copo and JJ: thanks for keeping the heat on in the shop. Damn bridge takes too long anyway. And I can honestly say that I have seen a curling competition in person.

Mr. Brass: Thanks for taking some time to show me around a little at COBO. I wish that I had made it earlier. Great job turning your kids into 'Gearheads' at an early age.

Mr. Mercury: I finally get the idea of the '51. Call the thing 'Shelf Life' or 'Frankenstein'. It should be something else when you get finished with it!

For those I didn't get a chance to visit:

Case and Cindy; Hope your feeling better!

Dave H.: Sorry I couldn't make it out. I be up again sometime soon. I bet I will still see the '66 before it hits the track.

Tim Clary: If you had told me it was your birthday, I would have at least dropped by to tell you your getting OLD! :pp

Frank and Karen: I have your number, you will see my shining face sometime.

Rdl: Hope you remembered your sunscreen

Bruno: I am afraid to think of how much beer would have been consumed with your presence. Glad to hear about the original 'shoe'!

    Rusty:

Considering what the weather was whne you arrived and what it turned into by the time you left, I'd say you named this right. Also sorry we missed you.

Should have stayed one more day. I "rearranged" my garage yesterday which required starting up the Ramrod and moving it around. Don't like to just start it up and let it sit there, so made a few "passes"  up and down the private road out front. Took about 6 laps before it warmed up, but got real exciting then. By the end of the afternoon, there were two other street rods doing same out front (my neighbor with his Vette and his 40 Chev). Not bad for a short cul de sac with only 5 houses on it!

Love the smell of Turbo Blue and melted rubber. :TU: :TU: :TU:
