This is great! I've found more information in the past few hours that I've been in this forum than what i've found in days searching Google. Thanks guys. I'm glad I found this place. History of me and my car: I first saw it when I was 19 and really wanted it. So I started asking around at work and much to my supprise it was my mother's boyfriend's (Steve's) car. I had never seen it before because it sat in his garage all the time. I started talking to him about it but he eventually told me that it wasn't for sale and there was no way he would sell it. Well, about a year and a half later he got bit by some kind of bug and wanted to buy a 1969 Camaro. So I asked him about the car again and he said $3500. The check was in his hands the next day. Steve's dad bought the car in 1969, just before they were bringing in the 1969 models, he was going to buy one of those but he decided on the '68 for $1485 (I still have the receit). It was a family car for many years, then when Steve turned 18 in 1987, the car was his. He drove it for a few years but most of the time he kept it in his garage. Now, the car sits in my garage, waiting for me to get off the computer and start working on it again.
