Anyone watch the old reruns on CMT they have on at night? Around here im running on CST, and it starts at 10:00 pm. I seen them when I was a younger kid and forgot about a lot of the stuff, now that they are back on TV again im beginning to get into them again. When they were on before I never watched them for the movie, I always watched it to see the General Lee, I loved seeing that car do stunts and peel out, and now im back into them again, although im not so sure I like some of the stunts since they ruin the car, but they are a fun action series to watch. :3gears: :TU:

I don't watch that, I don't think Timewarner even has CMT. But I do watch chips a lot around 4am lol. I like to see the older cars.

    LOL!

I figure a lot of you on the board have seen the whole series once, twice, and maybe 3 times through, but for those who haven't, and can get CMT, they have it on every night(depending on time zones).

I watch it most every night. And yes, Time Warner does have CMT here :Brow: I love to see all the old cars on the sides. Did see what looked like a mid 70's Skylark the other night. Of coarse, it was the bad guys car :af: I can't remember if they wrecked it or not. I too remember watching it as a kid. Now my kids are watching it :Do No:

We have re-runs of that show almost every night after 1 AM,
followed by a few months of the A-Team, followed by Kojak, MASH, Baretta, Starsky & Hutch,
until they decide it's Dukes time again :TU:

We even have a few commercials by the government now here in the Netherlands,
to introduce the new way of driving in order to safe fuel.

Starring Ko and Luuk Doek, together with Debbie Doek and Uncle Jossie....
a.k.a: de Doeks uut Hasselt (name of a Dutch village)

They have a few very funny video clips, with flash backs to the 80's
showing how wild they really were and didn't care about fuel consumption:

    Dan,

    Good kids :TU:

I was at the LA Petersen museum back in 1997 and was checking out one of the original Chargers used in the Duke show.

There was this American boy, age 9 or 10, standing next to me and I told him how cool I thought it was to see a genuine Dukes car in the flesh.

He told me that he had not a clue what that car was, and said he hated the colour..... :Dou:

His father came to the rescue, and after a nice chat about the tv series
and cars in general (Lee :) ), he promised me to educate his son by trying to find re-runs of that show.

Later that week I went into a little shoe repair shop in Malibu, and saw autographed photos of famous customers on the wall, one of them was our very own Daisy "Catherine Bach" Duke :bglasses:

The shop owner told me that she's a very friendly and always smiling woman, with a good sense of humor and that she is a great tipper. :TU:

I just checked we do have Cmt network. It shows that the show comes on two times in the evening 7pm and 11pm I will check it out. What I would like is if these old shows, would show old commericals that would be cool.

Catherine Bach was just on a special last night on CMT and she did not look good at all. I think she gained 30-40 lbs. She looked really bad.

We just got back from Gatlinburg, TN and there is an establishment there for "Dukes" fans. Housed in an old gas station, they had the Charger, Police Car, Daisy's Jeep, and Cooter's tow truck on display. Here is the Charger parked out front. It was at best in number 3 condition but was a very faithful copy of the General Lee.

They had lots of photos, models, and old "Dukes" stuff on display. Here is just one of quite a few displays.

The lady inside said they had Thrity Thousand people come to a Dukes reunion last year and she was expecting 50 thousand this year. Here is a scan of a picture of a picture on their wall. Probably taken by the studio or the company that prepared the cars years ago.

Another scan of a photo of a picture on the wall. I thought this car had a lot of character with the drip pan under the engine and the right rear quarter crushed as well as obvious panel alignment issues from abuse.

The first season was filmed in Georgia and I think it made the whole show better. This beautiful '65 Buick Special was parked directly across from Cooter's Garage.
