This year I've been battling some issues with my car as I try to figure out what happened to my approx 10mph decrease in trap speed. At Stanton, I only may two runs and parked the car as both times she just wasn't feeling right at all (this after thrashing to get the trans mount fixed and a new rear in the car). Well, this weekends warm weather I was finally able to dig a little deeper. What I wasn't expecting to find was a cracked harmonic balancer. I plan on continuing digging as I think there is an electrical issue also.

Atleast you cracked your balancer racin. I had to pay a machine shop to brake mine and it's a push on (by hand) style. At least they made it right.
Hope the balancer didn't hurt much more.

I understand that. but when the money is available and the engine builder is free is when it gets done. otherwise no racing in 09 for me. Besides, I know Dan's number for when questions arise

    Chris...........only want to help.
I'm just wondering if we are going to see some more rules with all the 11 sec cars coming. Just enough to slow us down alittle.
    Something to think about.

np Jeremy. I understand what you are saying. In the Pontiac pecking order, my lowly D-port is rather low on the food chain after all those round ports. I'm still a few months away from starting the build anyway, so there is time.
