names??? We've had a hard time figuring out what name fits him...he was being called "Jake", and we might just keep that. But we're open to suggestions?
Awwww~ (Holding an Iams biscuit up to the screen) Dorsey? A make of semi- trailer, he IS going to be a good trailer, isn't he??
Good Idea Dave, what you did was my first thought when i read your post the other day,How about TYLER ?????
Thanks for the ideas...we're considering "Amos", but are really at a loss on this one I think. Our first lab, we had about 4 weeks worth of visits on weekends before we could take him home, while we searched for a name, and settled on Dante. This little guy happened so fast, we're just caught off guard I think. We've read thru lists of pet names on the internet, but nothing is jumping out at us.
Lab puppy... Loook out!! Here comes trouble. Just wait till he starts tasting everything in the house. I honestly saw the results of a 9 month old lab puppy chewing on trees in a backyard (boredom?) while his master was at work. All of the young trees had to come down before he finished them off!! Great dogs , though... Name: Rambo:bglasses:
Yep, lab puppies are a handful, for sure! But they are worth the work you put into them. This is our 2nd lab. I doubt we'll ever have any other breed.
sorry, i'm a v8 kind of guy! i thought about "torque" but i would get tired of explaining... i think we're going with "jake". awww maaannn, he's sleeping on me again!
As long as he isn't doing that other word with 2 e's in it on you!!! :eek2: BTW, very cute puppy...Reminds me of my brother's black lab at that age...She(Molly)is now about 3yrs old and still thinks she is a puppy!!!
I've never met a Lab that wasn't a puppy at heart, no matter how old. Getting another puppy right away was the smartest decision we could have made. We had some relatives and friends that told us we should wait.....well, none of them currently have a dog, but did a few years back, and have never gotten another...not hardly qualified to give advice, IMHO. I had to spend the weekend alone here after letting our Dante go on Friday night, and the silence and emptiness in the house was just plain horrible.
