Seems like something most of us handy men (or women) could handle.

Yeah, there's a link there somewhere with pictures of a plywood tank lined with plastic and cleaning a trailer frame with an arc welder.

I remember reading up on that a while ago. The bad side is I'd need a swimming pool to do my car.

I used to play with electricty as a kid - the byproducts of this process (oxygen and hydrogen) can be a problem (or fun :))- I'd do it outside.

I'm doing some test stuff right now, seems to work really good. I have it hooked up to a car battery insted of a charger 'cause my charger won't do it, it trips off when it detects a fault. It's doing really good so far

I've used this before with good results, except I used lye instead of detergent. Over night and the rust was actually GONE.

I'll hafta try it with lye, the baking soda did good but it loosened it more than it took it off so I had to do a little scrubbing and I had to take it out because it started to lift the chrome
